Popular Opinion: Reddit Sucks

Main Post:

Pretty self explanatory, Reddit is full of some of worst trash ever (me included), and I think we all know it.......

Top Comment:

People are awful. Reddit gives people, regardless of how horrible, depraved, or genuinely caring, and positive, a vehicle to express their opinions but (to my experience) does little to promote or dampen one over the other.

Reddit only sucks because it's full of people, and people suck.

Houndmaster is miserable to play

Main Post:

Dog gets stuck on everything. Dog is way too braindead to dodge. Attack doesn't even go through half the time. Dog no longer injures survivors through vaults, and instead goes through survivors. And the cherry on top, you get awful deviousness blood points.

Why did this killer go through? Skull merchant 2.0

The dog stills injures on vaults

Stalker 2 fucking sucks

Main Post:

Look I’m sorry I really wanted to like this game. I played shadow of Chernobyl and call of Pripyat years ago and loved them but I’m so fucking frustrated with stalker 2. It’s got some good parts and it’s got potential but there are so many little problems that add up. The absolute worst thing about the game though is the weapon damage and ammo scarcity. I’ll shoot an enemy literally 10 times center mass at point blank range with an assault rifle and they don’t die and then my fucking gun jams or I run out of ammo and it’s so frustrating. I’m fine with gun jamming and scarce ammo. But not when an enemy can survive 10 rounds at point blank range. This shit is ridiculous.

Top Comment:

If it's human enemies try going for the head, if it's mutants then just run or try to kite them into an anomaly. That's been working out pretty well for me anyways.

Also don't be afraid to upgrade the starter pistol, it is a really good weapon for human enemies and the smaller mutants like the dogs. Also as soon as you find one of the pump action shotguns then dealing with bloodsuckers is a little easier but I'd still run unless you absolutely can't.

This game sucks

Main Post:

I challenge someone to dispute what I say civilly if possible, but this game has fell off to the point where it’s flat out ass. I want to like it so bad, but Literally every single day I play I run into cards that have been banned for 3 years and they use the excuse that “we don’t have the newest cards so the ban list won’t be up to date.” Maxx c, tearlaments kitkallos, SPRIGHT elf, fairy tail snow, PREDAPLANT VERTE ANACONDA, HEAVYMETALFOES ELECTRUMITE, GUARDRAGON ELPY, ELDER ENTITY NORDEN, MATHMECH CIRCULAR, Red reboot, KASHTIRA ARISE-HEART, etc. most of the cards I just listed have been banned for well over a year. Imagine madden saying well, we haven’t added arch manning yet so you can’t run the ball in the first half of games. If a card is banned it’s banned? Maybe I’m just stupid for assuming that a rule is a rule but this game doesn’t follow that. It picks and chooses and randomly limits cards, like dimension shifter, that don’t even have a limit on it period? It doesn’t follow a ban list and it doesn’t have a way to craft URs outside wait 3 months for a new duel pass, play a week to get 1000 gems, and then pray to god you get a card in a pack you’re looking for. No exaggeration, It takes months to build a deck. Even spending money isn’t bulletproof because it gives you so many cards from random packs that do not help whatsoever. I hope that a new game comes out in the near future.

Masterduel has its own custom banlist different than both TCG and OCG (although it tends to favor OCG).

The BO1 nature of the game leads them to have a different banlist because you cannot sideboard. From there they hit different things that TCG and OCG for two reasons. 1. An experimental banlist was exciting for new players and allowed playlines that were never possible in paper. 2. they didn't want to refund valuable currency so they hit other things instead.

So, no, you aren't playing against cards that have been banned for years because they haven't been in masterduel. If you want a TCG or OCG banlist you have to play those formats in paper. If that is a problem for you than masterduel is not the game for you. Your options are to embrace the experimental design or not to.

[S2 Spoilers] Arcane Ending was underwhelming

Main Post:

While I enjoyed the entirety of Arcane's Season 2, I felt underwhelmed by how it ended.

I've avoided all social media apps until finishing the series. Now that I have finished it, I've been exposed to theories of Jinx potentially surviving her "sacrifice." If that is the case, the decision to leave her demise ambiguous was a poor choice. They should have removed the scenes and hints of her potentially surviving after her sacrifice, and made it clear that she did not survive.

Firstly, I feel frustrated when a character I love or have grown attached to is given an indecisive ending. Allowing Jinx to survive would diminish the impact and meaning of her sacrifice. Instead of delivering a decisive and emotional conclusion to her arc, the story left me in a state of emotional limbo and feeling disconnected with her end. Confirming her death would have honored her sacrifice and provided a definitive conclusion, respecting her heroism and maximizing its emotional weight.

Secondly, none of the "good" main characters truly die throughout the show. While I understand the story was building toward a climactic battle, it missed an opportunity for a deeply emotional ending. Killing off some main characters would have emphasized the stakes, showing the real risks involved. In high-stakes situations, the constant survival of main characters can feel unrealistic, unnecessarily prolong their arcs, and overuses plot armor. Losing a fight or making a major mistake loses significance if the characters always survive. When done well, the death of a main character adds real stakes and emotional depth to the overall narrative.

Lastly, the pacing of the final act—perhaps even the entire second season—felt rushed. Some fights could have been more impactful and emotional, while certain scenes, particularly between Caitlyn and Vi, felt out of place. However, since this is primarily about Jinx's death, I won't be getting into those.

TLDR: Amazing series. Seasons two was still great but the ending was underwhelming. 6/10 for Act III.

Top Comment:

I definitely feel each episode need maybe another 10 minutes, and the season needed maybe 2 more episodes.

I wish the war episodes was split- like one episode ends as Caitlyn is captured and about to be executed, and ends when Jinx arrives. This way they could’ve made the battle a bit longer and make the tension of who is gonna make it even more tense.

Arcane Season 2 sucked and it SHOULD be called out. Stop defending bad writing

Main Post:

Seriously people need to stop defending Arcane season 2.

If something is wrong, fans NEED to point it out so that the next season can be better.

I've watched my fair share of shows and they ALL have imperfect seasons i.e: Suits, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones. All have bad writers at some point in their showing

But Arcane is the only show where fans are given a garbage plot, pacing and narrative and will try to defend it (Even GoT Season 8 didnt have these many hardball defenders).

Here is one of many issues people gloss over

...How the hell can fans keep up with:
- Introduction of Black Rose
- Jinx's symbolism as a hero
- Mel's secret powers as a Black Rose mage
- Piltover's Capture of Jinx
- Noxus Coup
- Vi and Jinx's rivalry
- Vander and Silco's past
- Vander's return as Warwick
- Chaos Void corruption
- Jayce's vision of the future
- Victor's Glorious Evolution
- Undercity's politics, Silco's power vacuum
- Piltover's politics, High Council
- Caitlyn and Vi's Love Story
- Introduction of hextech in Piltover's military
- Abessa's takeover and secret plan to overthrow piltover
- Making of Warwick
- Singed goals and daughter Orianna
- Heimmerdinger and Ekko's Time Adventure
- Jinx and Vi's mother
- Vi training as a new police force cadet
- Noxus's beliefs and training
- Zaun's Uprising
- Multi-universe existence
- Future time-travel and foresight

These are just a few things that I could come up with in 1 minute of typing

Arcane Season 1, however, had its fair share of plotpoints but they were FIRMLY routed in Jinx and Vi as an allegory of Zaun and Piltover respectively. Leading to a culminating thrill of Jinx's glorious evolution to her maniacal character.

In Season 2h however, her relationship with Vi takes a stunning backseat in order to let characters like Warwick, Caitlyn, Abessa, Jayce and Mel to take center stage. This is why the ending where Jinx sacrifices herself is sooooo underwhelming as there was no build up to it. This is just ONE example of Season 2 failing and I'm tiring hearing people say we shouldn't criticize the writers for it

For me the animation offsets any perceived drop in quality of story telling. The animation standards have been raised to a higher pinnacle. Not just for the show but for the industry.

So does S2 suck in animation quality. Hell no.

Anyone else think the International CV series kinda sucks?

Main Post:

I got this truck as a general work truck, move pallets, bales, logs, etc.

Well as it turns out, it kinda sucks at that job.

Put four pallets on it? Tip over going 20 kmh.

Make a wide load with bales and hire a worker to deliver it? For some reason that automatically puts up the side guards and fucks up so many things.

Wanna use the tipper version instead of the flatbed? What the hell is 3.5k liter capacity useful for?

Worse part is the ball hitch cant even hook up to some of the trailers that are ment to be used with a ball hitch.

Top Comment:

I put the dolly on and use a step deck with it. Did that for a bit then just switched to a semi and step deck.

The tipper trailer is good for small field trips from combine to your silo if you’re into staying moderately busy, and also feeding chickens
